Lyrics

CLOUD GALLEON

Know you a ship that I may sail on?
For I must ride upon the sea...
I’m called beyond the far horizon
To find my destiny.

I know a ship that you may sail on!
No finer galleon man may take.
She sails to lands of answered questions,
Where stirring souls awake.

And, like a team of steaming stallions,
She leaps across the rising sun,
And in her breast his glory blazes
Until her journey’s done.

Majestic is he, he who is her captain,
Whose breath compels the trade winds and the squalls,
And sweeps across the swaying fields of wheat,
And cradles the fading petal as she falls.

Shall I be gone a year, or longer?
‘Twere folly, friend, to turn away
From such fair hills and such sweet harbours.
Then I shall sail today!
I shall sail today...
For the galleon, she may not call here again.
